SADIE GRAVEL, boutique owner

Sadie is from Bernard, Iowa and now lives in Delmar with her husband, Wade and their two pups, Dolly and Otis. Wade and Sadie were introduced by mutual friends and have been together ever since.

Sadie attended Iowa State University where she majored in Agricultural Business. From there she moved to Delmar where she now works for GM Billing Recovery & Solutions as a Billing Specialist.

We asked Sadie, why she decided to purchase the shop, and she said, "I have always dreamt of owning by own business more so owning my own boutique, I love clothes and shopping. So when this opportunity presented itself, I knew it was meant to be! I wanted to keep this boutique running for our communities."

She is a dreamer. She hopes to one day make the shop her full time job and growing The Humming Arrow footprint further throughout the Midwest! Hint Hint more stores! She hopes to provide the best service to all customers and bringing clothes into the store that are very versatile and fit all different body types! 

Personally she plans to live and raise her family in Delmar and spread her love for the surrounding communities. "There is just something special about small town Iowa", she said.

When she isn't working at the shop, or spending time with Wade and the pups, you can find her baking, decorating their house, working out with Sweat Inspire Sisterhood and of course SHOPPING!
